New Launches

Fusion Packaging introduced its new Lift Collection. Boasting 10 sizes, Lift is one of the largest assortments of an airless collection on the market, and it is available in a variety of attractive options with sizes that range from 5 ml to 100 ml in four different diameters. All 10 Lift sizes have recently been promoted in the Fall 2013 Pantone trend colors. The result is a colorful endorsement of the collection that also hits on key offerings of the collection such as formula compatibility and FusionMatch Decoration Technology capabilities.

Qosmedix introduced two new additions to its collection of Kabuki Brushes. These two new environmentally friendly brushes can be used for evenly applying bronzer, blush, loose or pressed powder. Part number #30298 has a unique and stylish long handle with aluminum ferrule, which allows for a better grasp and control over the brush, while part number #30297 has a traditional short handle making it ideal for travel. Both of these high quality, professional makeup brushes are two toned in coloring, have soft synthetic nylon brush hair and eco-friendly bamboo handles.

DieterBakicEnterprises debuted its Kronos dropper and Cosima glass flacon. With high transparency, a solid glass bottom and a silky surface, the new Cosima bottle conveys pure luxury and perfectly fits in the line. For the Kronos dropper, the company combined high-class optics with smooth handling, helping to convey a more cosmetic sense to the consumer. It has all the benefits of a reliable pump system without metal parts—the pipette is made of plastic, which prevents breakage, unlike in the case of long glass pipettes. Also, the dosage is very precise at 0.4 ml per intake. The pipette doesn‘t leak, as it discharges the intake only when pressed at the top. Additionally, a little wiper inside the bottle was added, which cleans the pipette from the product when the dropper is taken out of the bottle. The dropper works well for oil and serum beauty products.

Cosmogen debuted its Double Sculpt Brush, which uses a double dome feature to highlight and sculpt the natural contours of the face in one easy sweep. Each dome can be customized with different fiber materials, and the Double Sculpt Brush is available in three shapes—round, square, and oval—and designed as a kabuki or onto a handle.

M&H Plastics added two new roll-on products to its portfolio of standard products. One is the slimline straight-sided 50 ml Purity Roll-On and the other is an A-line shaped 50 ml Gripped Roll-On incorporating a grip feature on each side. Both have a 42 mm neck and take a 1.4 inch lightweight roll ball and overcap.

New on the Shelves

Natura Bissé’s latest rejuvenating night treatment, Diamond Life Infusion, is contained in a pack that combines a glass bottle with a rigid Yonwoo airless container, custom developed by cosmetic packaging provider Quadpack. Formula protection is a key factor in the design of the packaging for this product, and thus, a 25 ml airless container protects the formula from oxidation and external contamination. The airless cylinder is concealed within a glass bottle custom made to fit. Carefully following Natura Bissé’s design, the inner wall has been pearlized, maintaining the transparency and reflection effect of the outer wall. Silver and black branding is flux printed onto the outer wall to match the aesthetics of the Diamond Collection. A custom aluminum-sheathed collar holds all components securely in place. Enhancing the prestigious look and feel of the product, the collar adds further weight and brilliance. The logo and lettering are subtly debossed around the top edge. In terms of shape, the round collar contrasts strikingly with the rectangular contours of the bottle. An aluminim-clad cap, with ‘NB’ debossed in the center, completes the pack.

Launched for spring/summer 2013, Sephora + Pantone Universe forecasted Emerald Green as the Color of the Year while working with HCT Group to create an innovative and striking range. Vibrant and dynamic, the Color of the Year is a collection of makeup for the face, lips and eyes including prismatic eye shadows, bold waterproof eyeliners, glitter dust, lid stains and lip wands, all boasting complimentary Emerald tones. HCT’s innovative Halo lip gloss design offers memorable packaging that houses a clear squeezable Surlyn material surrounded by a thick square rim of glasslike PMMA material and a slanted ABS applicator tip. The eye shadow trio comes in a geometric compact that encases an interesting and charming slide-around mirror, which offers functionality and practicality. The collection also includes one full-size, eight-piece brush set featuring an iridescent portfolio/display stand that folds into a case to protect brushes when not in use. A mini travel-sized, three-piece coated canvas brush roll set also compliments the collection for on-the-go beauty.
