2013 Art of Packaging Award to Honor Estée Lauder's Veronique Gabai-Pinksy

The Pratt Institute Art of Packaging Award Gala, which benefits the Marc Rosen Scholarship and Education Fund for Packaging by Design at Pratt Institute and is set to take place Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at New York’s University Club, will honor Veronique Gabai-Pinsky and the Aramis and Designer Fragrances division of The Estée Lauder Companies for their outstanding commitment to package design this year. Gabai-Pinsky is the global brand president, Aramis and Designer Fragrances, BeautyBank and IdeaBank.

For Aramis and Designer Fragrances, Gabai-Pinsky oversees global businesses for the Aramis, Lab Series Skincare for Men, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries, Donna Karan Cosmetics, Michael Kors Beauty and Kiton brands, and has recently introduced to the portfolio Ermenegildo Zegna, Marni and Tory Burch. In addition, she oversees the BeautyBank and IdeaBank divisions of The Estée Lauder Companies, with their mission to identify consumer-centric, opportunities around the world and bring these concepts and brands to market through sustainable and profitable business models. The latest brand launched through IdeaBank is Osiao, a skin care brand dedicated to Asian skin.

Prior to The Estée Lauder Companies, Gabai-Pinsky was executive vice president and general manager for fine fragrance, North America, for Symrise and its predecessor, Dragoco. From 1997 to 1998, Gabai-Pinsky served as vice president of marketing and communication for Guerlain, a division of LVMH, and before this, she spent time as the worldwide director of strategic planning for Select Advertising.

Previous recipients of the Art of Packaging Award include Avon, Bath & Body Works, Calvin Klein, Clinique, Coty, Inc., Coty Prestige, Dior Beauty, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, P&G Prestige, Proctor & Gamble, Ralph Lauren Fragrances and Shiseido. The award is presented each year to a fragrance company that has excelled in the art form.
