MWV unveiled several new packaging solutions at the 2009 Cosmoprof Bologna. Clikit IP is a resin-injected version of the company’s Melodie Clikit pump, and is available with a wider array of decorative finishes and aesthetic coatings toward elevating product presentation and differentiation. MWV also expanded its Melodie pump line to include bottle neck diameters of 17-mm, 18-mm and 20-mm, in addition to its 13-mm and 15-mm sizes.
In addition, its Calmar dispensing solutions portfolio was expanded with three new offerings: Aria Airless, Prelude Airless and Pearl Mini Airless. Aria and Prelude both feature a 32-mm container with piston in sizes ranging from 15–75 mL, and are adaptable to colored metal overshell, lacquering, silk screening and hot stamping for diverse presentation options. Both products are based on MWV’s patented Pure Path technology, which is designed to eliminate the risk of corrosion or discoloration as no metal comes in contact with the contained formula. The Pearl Mini Airless, in 15-mL and 50-mL sizes, is designed for highly concentrated formulas, and is applicable to the same presentation options as the larger airless models.
