TricorBraun Names New COO and Executive VP

TricorBraun named George Dempsey chief operating officer and Mark Shepherd executive vice president.

“This evolution in TricorBraun’s management structure will continue to make our company stronger as well as position it for continued growth and profitability,” said Keith Strope, president and CEO, TricorBraun.

Dempsey has assumed responsibility for the firm’s design and engineering department as well as its marketing department. He now oversees the company’s strategic and global markets, along with international sourcing and business development as well as TricorBraun’s supply chain.

Prior to his appointment as COO, Dempsey had been an executive vice president. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Park University, Kansas City, and a masters of business administration degree from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb.

Shepherd will continue his leadership of TricorBraun’s Dallas, Houston and San Antonio regions, and will assume responsibility for additional regions that include: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Salt Lake City and Seattle. He had been a regional vice president prior to his appointment as executive vice president.

Shepherd graduated from Texas State University, San Marcos, with a bachelor of science degree.
