Luxe Pack Monaco took place on October 2-4, 2017 and showcased some of the biggest trends in beauty and personal care packaging.

From luxury jars to masstige tubes to couture inspired closures to digital content for packaging, these are some of the top packaging trends of the moment. 

Guadiana: Quadpack's acrylic jar for luxury brands

  • The jar is said to be 100% customizable, allowing brands to choose materials, seals and decorating options
  • The jar comes in SAN, PMMA or SMMA as standard with a PP inner jar for product compatibility
  • The cap is SAN or PETG, also with a PP interior, and can be either flush or with a narrow shoulder 
  • Decoration options include: silk screening, hot stamping, metallization and translucent color or varnish
  • The jar is available in 50ml capacity

 Yonwoo: Appli Tube 

  • The tube was launched by Quadpack's skin care division
  • The Appli tube comprises a PE applicator and a PP cap
  • The multi-layer construction (five-layer co-ex or Luxefoil) was designed to shield the formula from light, gas, moisture, organic and chemical substances
  • Available sizes include 16mm diameter for 3-5ml capacities or a 19mm diameter for 5-20ml capacities
  • Sizes are for both standard and travel formats

 Seram and Mypack Debut Smartlace  

  • Smartlace combines traditional lace with digital content to be showcased on fragrance packaging
  • The decoration is available in 200 variations with the hopes of giving a personalized message for each bottle
  • The variations in the lace decoration were created to help brands personalize and customize the packaging to cohesively work with campaigns

  • The collection of caps includes the injection and in-mold placement of textile pieces and flexible materials, including nubuck, denim, lurex twill, jacquard relief, burlap, soft wood and soft cork
