On May 16, 2017 the Pratt Institute will host its annual Art of Packaging Award Gala at the University Club of New York. This year’s event will honor Batallure Beauty and its founders Robin Burns-McNeill and Sam Ghusson. (2016 honoree: Jean Madar, chairman/CEO of Inter Parfums.)
Batallure Beauty is known for its work in brand strategy, product and package development and sourcing and manufacturing in the fragrance, color cosmetics, hair care, skin care, body care and men’s grooming categories.
The Art of Packaging Award is presented each year to a beauty industry company or individual that has excelled in the art form of package design.
The event will benefit the Marc Rosen Scholarship and Education Fund for Packaging by Design. There will be a cocktail reception starting at 6:30pm followed by an 8pm dinner.
Update: It was recently announced that fashion designer, Derek Lam will introduce McNeil and Ghusson at the Gala on May 16th. Joining him onstage will be model and actress, Roshumba Williams, who will act as the evening' mistress of ceremonies.
