IFF Names Executive VP, Head of Supply Chain

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. announced that it has named Beth E. Ford, 44, executive vice president, head of supply chain. She will join the company on October 1 and report directly to Robert M. Amen, chairman and CEO. Ford was most recently COO for Hachette Book Group headquartered in New York City.

"We are delighted that Beth has joined IFF," said Amen. "Beth will develop end-to-end supply chain strategies that enhance customer service, increase plant productivity and reduce costs. She brings significant operations experience to IFF and we are pleased that she will be spearheading our supply chain initiatives."

Before joining Hachette, Ford worked at Scholastic, Inc. as senior vice president of global operations and information technology (2000-2007). Previously, she held senior supply chain, line operating and IT roles with Pepsi, McDonald's and Mobil Oil Corporation in a career spanning more than 20 years.

A native of Sioux City, Iowa, Ford graduated from Iowa State University with a BBA in management and later received an MBA from Columbia University Business School with an emphasis in finance. She is a member of the Dean's Advisory Committee for the School of Business at Iowa State University, as well as the National Board of Trustees of the March of Dimes.
