LVMH Names Ole Henricksen Brand CEO

LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton announced the appointment of Alexandra Kole as CEO of Ole Henricksen of Denmark, Inc., a prestige skin care brand. Kole will be responsible for expanding Ole Henriksen's market presence globally, driving product innovation and continuing to enhance the brand's sales and financial performance. LVMH purchased Ole Henriksen in January 2011.

"Ali's passion, creativity, and leadership have injected new energy into the brand and will bring [the brand] Ole Henricksen to new heights of success in years to come," said Ole Henriksen, the brand’s founder and creative director.

Kole joined Sephora Americas in 2008, holding the role of senior vice president of strategy and business development, with responsibility for company strategy and geographic expansion. In this position, Kole led the acquisition of the Ole Henricksen brand for LVMH, the parent of Sephora, and has been serving as its interim CEO since early 2011. In her new role, she will continue to report to David Suliteanu, president and CEO of Sephora Americas.

Suliteanu said, "Over the past year, Ali has worked closely with Ole Henriksen and his team to develop the strategies that will allow the brand to capitalize on its unique position in the market and achieve even greater success, worldwide. The combination of Ole's creative energy and talent with Ali's leadership will allow the brand to continue to thrive at Sephora and as it grows around the world."

Prior to Sephora, Kole spent 10 years managing consumer online businesses in the U.S. and overseas for Microsoft. She was previously a consultant for McKinsey & Company and Bain & Company.
