New York City-based Gemini Cosmetics, Inc., a fragrance marketing, licensing and distributing company, appointed Jonathon Needham to the position of vice president of operations and logistics.
The 29-year beauty industry veteran most recently served for 20 years as senior vice president of operations, North America, for L’Oréal USA’s luxury and cosmetic active products division. Prior to that, he worked in engineering for the Colgate Palmolive Company for nine years.
“As Gemini Cosmetics continues to grow, it is imperative that we bring in great talent to ensure continued success,” says chairman and CEO, Frank Fazzinga, Jr. “Jon’s veteran leadership will be instrumental in helping us to execute innovative, cost-efficient and impactful point-of-sale packaging in a competitive marketplace. His expertise and critical thinking will be an asset to Gemini as we accelerate our initiatives and establish a growing industry presence.”
As of July 2008, through a partnership agreement with Coty, Inc., Gemini is the exclusive U.S. department and specialty store distributor of several of Coty Beauty’s fragrances. Needham will assist as Gemini’s portfolio grows.
