Alberto-Culver Company Names Its U.S. President

The Alberto-Culver Company appointed Kenneth “Casey” Keller president, U.S., effective Sept. 15, 2008. With nearly 20 years of global consumer products management experience, Keller will develop a strategy to grow Alberto-Culver’s U.S. market.

Earlier in his career, Keller worked on marketing projects for Procter & Gamble, as well as for the HJ Heinz Company, where he served as chairman and chief executive officer of Heinz Italia. Most recently, though, Keller led Motorola as chief marketing officer and executive vice president. Keller, who holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Cornell University, says he looks forward to expanding Alberto-Culver’s already well-regarded brands, some of which include Soft & Beautiful, TRESemme, Alberto VO5 and Nexxus, and focusing on customers’ needs.

“We’re extremely pleased to have an experienced professional with an extensive consumer background join our executive team,” says V. James Marino, president and CEO, Alberto-Culver. “Casey has a proven track record of successfully expanding and developing brands, successfully launching new products and driving growth.”
