Jafra Cosmetics International, Inc., announced the appointment of Friedrich Kroos as president and CEO. Kroos joined Jafra in March 2007 as senior vice president of worldwide operations and business development.
“His expertise in building solid, strategic leadership teams, coupled with a deep commitment to Jafra’s mission, vision and values make him uniquely qualified for the job,” said Walter Muyres, managing partner, Vorwerk & Co., KG, the German-based parent company of Jafra.
Kroos reports directly to the Vorwerk's executive board, and is responsible for the overall management of Jafra, which currently has an international network of more than 500,000 consultants worldwide. Working closely with the Jafra management board, Kroos will oversee the development and implementation of Jafra’s ongoing business strategies.

Prior to joining Jafra, Kroos worked in various management level positions within the Vorwerk Group.
