Ginkgo Bioworks and Amyris have formed a new partnership, enabling both companies to work together developing products. As a result, the companies will be joining R&D capabilities.
Ginkgo will broaden Amyris's strain engineering capacity by providing access to its foundry, while Amyris will allow Ginkgo access to its commercial scale multi-product fermentation facility.
