Achieving strong transparency is a major goal for many beauty brands these days. Whether the transparency pertains to the ingredients used in a company's products or the corporate culture of its headquarters, consumers are seeking out brands that they can hold 100% accountable.

L'Oréal is one such brand embracing transparency by recently publishing its human rights policy. The company believes, "as a business and as a responsible corporate citizen, it has a responsibility to identify and address any actual or potential adverse human rights impacts in which the group may be involved [in] through its own operations or business relationships."
