This September 2013, Napoleon Perdis will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its top-selling Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer with a global treasure hunt designed to offer the brand's followers and fans on both sides of the Pacific the chance to take off on the trip of a lifetime. Throughout the month of September, Perdis will host an interactive contest to honor Auto Pilot and the values that inspire his namesake brand. The contest will launch on September 1, 2013, with a personal introduction and thank you to fans around the globe from Perdis himself.
The packaging for Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer was largely inspired by courageous pioneer of the skies Amelia Earhart and was designed to create a smooth landing for makeup. “Bold, courageous women have always inspired me, and the Auto Pilot packaging is my way of paying tribute to women who aren’t afraid to follow their passions,” says Perdis. “Clues throughout the treasure hunt will tie back to the theme of female empowerment that is one of the driving forces behind my brand.”
Starting September 1, 2013, and running until October 5, 2013, Perdis and the Napoleon Perdis team will post 10 pieces of Auto Pilot Anniversary content (photos and videos) across the brand's social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. Each image or video will include a token with a secret code (i.e., PASSION01, COURAGE02, STRENGTH03 etc.). Participants will collect all 10 codes and submit them via a dedicated landing page on www.napoleonperdis.com for their chance to win. One grand prize winner from Australia or the U.S. will win a free trip to Sydney or Hollywood, to include flight, hotel and a makeover with Perdis' expert creative team of makeup artists.
