P&G Posts 17% Growth; Raises Fiscal Year Outlook

The company now expects organic sales to grow by approximately 5-6%. This compares to the previous guidance range of 4-6%. The company also raised its earnings per share outlook for the fiscal year due to the strong results in the December quarter. The company now expects earnings per share to be in the range of $2.99 to $3.03, up 13-15% versus prior year. For the January/March quarter, organic sales are expected to grow by 5-7%.
