LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Grow in Q1 2015

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has posted a 16% increase in first quarter 2015 revenue, totaling 8.3 billion euros. The company reportedly recorded "excellent momentum" in Europe and the United States.

The perfumes and cosmetics business totaled 1,094 million euros for the period (204: 941 million euros), representing 6% organic growth.

  • Christian Dior benefited from the strength of brands such as J’adore and Miss Dior, as well as the robust performance of the make-up segment.
  • Guerlain continued the roll out of its new fragrance L’Homme Idéal and inaugurated its new production facility in Chartres, which is dedicated to skincare and make-up.
  • Benefit performed very well.
  • Fresh and Make Up For Ever are expanding rapidly, according to the company.
