LVMH Reports Organic Growth for Q1 2018

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) reported revenue of €10.9 billion in the first quarter of 2018, a 10% increase. Organic growth was 13% over the same period in 2017.

Organic revenue increased 17% for Perfumes & Cosmetics. Growth was driven by brands including Parfums Christian Dior and its fragrances J’adore, Miss Dior and Sauvage, and color cosmetics and skin care ranges; and Guerlain’s skin care and new Mon Guerlain fragrance. Benefit, Parfums Givenchy and Fresh also saw growth, as did Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, which the company calls “an exceptional success.”

All business groups contributed to growth, including Wines & Spirits (10%), Fashion & Leather Goods (16%), Watches & Jewelry (20%) and Selective Retailing (9%). Asia, the United States and Europe also experienced notable growth.
