e.l.f. Beauty Announces Q2 and First Half 2017 Results

e.l.f. Beauty has released its financial results for Q2 and first half 2017. 

Net sales for Q2 2017 reached $55.9 million, a 27% increase when compared to $11.7 million in net sales for Q2 2016. The company attributes this to sales growth across leading national retailers and e.l.f. Beauty's direct business. 

Net sales for first half 2017 reached $116.4 million, a 20% increase when compared to $19.6 million in net sales for first half 2016. 

Tarang Amin, chairman and CEO of e.l.f. Beauty, said, “We are pleased with our strong progress in Q2 highlighted by a 27% increase in net sales and over 700 basis point expansion in gross margin. Our performance continues to demonstrate the successful execution of our mission to make luxurious beauty accessible for all.”
