Beauty e-commerce company Birchbox announced a new partnership with Us Weekly to create a special edition Birchbox for the 2014 movie awards season. Launching February 2014, the custom Birchbox will feature products hand-picked by Us Weekly beauty director Gwen Flamberg, and is inspired by the most iconic red carpet looks of the season.
For the February 2014 shipment, all Birchbox subscribers will receive the “Step and Repeat” themed box, which includes red-carpet essentials from brands such as Smashbox, OPI, Dr. Brandt and Beauty Protector. The Oscars-inspired products and tips will also be featured in the March 12, 2014, issue of Us Weekly.
