The author describes a cosmetic technology based on a newer formulating concept—cream in powder form. This new formulation can be presented according to two technical processes in order to produce either water-based or oily cosmetic products. In each case, the proper selection of ingredients, including treated pigments and thickeners, determines the stability of the finished products.
