Dow Corning has introduced a collection of skin care and color cosmetic formulation concepts as part of its Experience the Difference campaign. According to the company, the formulations can make skin seem healthier and protect it from the elements.
“Experience the Difference: Second Skin will help formulators provide options for consumers who want to express themselves through their appearance and protect themselves with their personal care products,” said Eriko Sakurai, global industry director for marketing, Dow Corning Life Sciences Business. “The concepts include creams that help to protect the skin from harmful environmental elements, as well as provide nutrients and hydration for a healthy, radiant glow; make-up for the face and body that transforms your look from dull to astonishing, instantly; and emulsions that exhilarate the skin and excite the senses.”
