AmorePacific's Aestura Brand Gets New Whitening Ingredient

AmorePacific Corp. has obtained NET (new excellent technology) certification during the 2016 NET Certification Awards for its Kazinol F-mimicking skin brightening ingredient derived from paper mulberry. The amide-based ingredient will be introduced soon in the medical beauty cosmetics brand Aestura.

AmorePacific developed the ingredient with 3D molecular modeling, which allowed the material to achieve greater stability and a stronger brightening effect compared to Kazinol F, according to the company. The material's safety was reportedly confirmed through cell, artificial skin testing and clinical demonstration.

"This NET certification means that AmorePacific's sincere efforts to develop new beauty ingredients has been been globally recognized," said Lee Jon-whan, the director of AmorePacific Corporation Applied Research Center. "We'll continue to introduce new justable outcome effective functional cosmetics with our own original and distinguished technology."
