David L. Rosenberger was named director, corporate development, of The HallStar Company. He will support the global growth opportunities for existing products, new technologies and potential acquisitions.

Rosenberger served more than 28 years at Dow Chemical in a number of critical business development roles, starting with marketing and advancing through global business development of new technologies, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, he held the position of vice president, corporate development, for a start-up company in California that marketed new catalyst technology to the life sciences, specialty chemical and polymer industries.
