Bruno Storp, former CEO of Drom Fragrances, has passed away. He was 82.

Storp's career of more than 60 years began when he assumed the helm of Drom from his father in 1946, representing the second generation to run the family business. Storp's sons Ferdinand and Andreas now represent the third generation of the family to manage Drom.

According to an official Drom statement, "On the one hand, [Storp] was a traditionalist who stood with both feet firmly on the ground. At the same time, he always welcomed new ideas, seeking out innovative solutions in all areas. With the expansion of international activities and the founding of subsidiaries in the US, Japan and then Australia, Storp laid the foundation back in the 1970s for much of the firm’s current business activities. Bruno Storp’s family, employees and business partners will miss his straightforward nature, his generosity and his open, cordial approach."
