Shorewood Packaging Appoints New VP

Shorewood Packaging has named Bruce Betancourt vice president of sales for its cosmetic packaging group. In this role, he will work with top cosmetic and fragrance accounts such as Elizabeth Arden, Coty and Victoria’s Secret.

“With 23 years of cosmetic and pharmaceutical packaging sales experience, Bruce Betancourt will bring great value to this role,” said Marty Zarett, senior vice president, sales, Shorewood Packaging. “He is well-known and respected in the industry, and he’s a great asset to our team.”

Most recently, Betancourt held the position of general manager/sales manager for the Arko business unit of Smurfit Stone Container Corporation, where he managed all aspects of the company’s Piscataway, N.J. facility and direct sales. He also worked as vice president for Arko, responsible for sales management, growing business and managing the financial and operations aspects of the business.
