In the past decade, cosmetics sales in Brazil have grown at a rate of about 10%/year. The country ranks among the largest markets for fragrance, deodorants, hair care, pbath care, sun care, makeup and nail care, oral care, skin care and more.
Croda Brazil has opened a new R$4 million distribution center near Campinas, Brazil, to meet rising demand in the market and Latin America.
The Croda facility is located near its manufacturing site in Campinas and Viracopos International Airport.
The move reduces response times by as much as 24 hours.
“The five year investment plan is a crucial part of Croda’s strategy to be more closely aligned with our customers’ needs, leveraging our continued focus on innovation and improving both our market alignment and close customer contact,” said Marco Carmini, managing director, Croda Latin America.
