Beauty.com Names Beauty Director-at-Large

Beauty.com, Inc. announced an official collaboration with professional makeup artist Romy Soleimani. Soleimani joins Beauty.com as its first beauty director-at-large, signaling a continued focus on exclusive site content for the prestige cosmetics retailer.

Beauty.com has previously employed Soleimani's talent for various projects including execution of seasonal site campaigns, leading makeup teams during New York Fashion Week, and creating demonstrative videos about trends and makeup applications. She has also appeared as a guest editor for the prestige retailer, curating a list of her favorite products from the more than 15,000 items carried by the site.

"Romy's work is highly sought after, and her expertise is undeniable," says Kathleen McNeill, president of Beauty.com, Inc. "The director-at-large position really speaks to the variety of exclusive content she'll be creating for Beauty.com customers to aid them in shopping our vast assortment."

In addition to working as the featured makeup artist for the Beauty.com site's imagery, Soleimani will also share product recommendations, emerging trends and behind-the-scenes news via the newly launched Beauty.com blog, Beauty Close Up. The blog will allow the renowned makeup artists to share information about new products, emerging trends, and special tips and tricks in a timely fashion.

"As both a busy working mom and as a professional artist, the value proposition of the Beauty.com site and the massive assortment afforded by that shared basket with the drugstore.com site speaks to me," says Soleimani. "I'm excited to be able to regularly offer my advice to beauty customers looking for the perfect products at every price range. In addition, it's also exciting to have the opportunity to introduce existing brands as well as my rare finds to the Beauty.com customer."
