The virtual reality beauty app race has been heating up in recent months. Now, Perfect365 has announced that it has added more than 200 makeup looks from Fall Fashion Week.
With more than 80 million users, the app now lets users try out NYFW makeup looks following the September shows using a virtual mirror or photo selfie.
The technology leverages face detection technology that places virtual makeup looks upon photos and live video. The company notes, "As a result, any makeup design looks realistic because the app knows exactly where eyeshadow should be applied, how to contour the cheekbones and even where to place eyeliner."

"Celebrity designers and makeup artists spend months designing the premiere looks to complete the clothing pieces and accessories for the runways. Now, with Perfect365, everyone can try on the makeup fresh from Fashion Week and be among the first to recreate these looks in real life before they hit the stores.”
