Macy's Strengthens Senior Management

Macy's Inc. announced two key senior executive changes as the company continues to move its omnichannel business based on intensive insight into evolving consumer preferences and changing shopping patterns.

  • Peter Sachse will assume the role as chief growth officer, overseeing all MAcy's merchandising as well as Macy's backstage, Bluemercury and international expansion;
  • Justin MacFarlane is joining Macy's as the new role of chief strategy, analytics and innovation officer, and will also be a member of the executive committee. He will  be responsible for Macy's strategic development, consumer and customer research, data analysis, innovation and the development of future new business opportunities.
