Sally Beauty, which recently reported sluggish store traffic in its latest results, has announced that its senior VP and CFO, Mark Flaherty, is resigning, effective today.

Janna Minton, the company's group vice president, chief accounting officer and controller, will serve as its interim financial officer.

The news comes amidst tough times for beauty retailers, though, as shown by Ulta Beauty, some companies are finding ways to grow.
