Unilever Breaks Ground in Dubai

According to reports, Unilever has broken ground on its $272 million personal care manufacturing facility in Dubai in order to pursue the lucrative Middle Eastern market.

The Middle Eastern beauty sector is dominated by multinationals, according to a recent Euromonitor report, with the exception of Iran.

Companies such as Unilever are pursuing rising demand for halal-certified products and men's grooming offerings and color cosmetics. Turkey, meanwhile, is growing on the power of niche offerings.
