M·A·C Debuts Online in India

MAC is the leading prestige beauty brand in India and is poised for further growth.

M·A·C has debuted online in India at Nykaa.com, giving the struggling brand a further foothold in this hot cosmetic market. While M·A·C has challenges in North America, it is the top prestige beauty brand in India, as a subsidiary of ELCA Cosmetics Pvt Ltd.

Nykaa already offers brands such as Clinique and Estée Lauder, and will debut Bobbi Brown in January 2017.

Nykaa, in an official release, had forecasted a 10x growth in luxury beauty sales in 2017. Luxury brands are offered on the site's Nykaa Luxe section, which hosts an educational Luxe Letters blog.

Nykaa grown 3.5x over the past year, according to the company.
