Fashion Fair Cosmetics Names New President

Fashion Fair Cosmetics, a business unit of Johnson Publishing Co., has named Amy S. Hilliard as its new president, effective February 24, 2014, according to the Chicago Business Journal. In the position, Hilliard will be responsible for leading the beauty company's operations, including marketing, sales, operations and retail partnerships, and she will report to Johnson Publishing CEO Desiree Rogers.

Rogers noted of the appointment, "Amy comes to us with an extensive background in marketing and business development, and we look forward to having her expertise and leadership as we re-launch the Fashion Fair Cosmetics brand and continue our business growth."

Hilliard commented, "This company holds an iconic role in the African-American community. I am excited to play a role in the company's growth and expansion globally."

Previously, Hilliard was CEO, president and founder of the baked goods company ComfortCake Company and the Hilliard Group. Hilliard also served in leadership roles at L'Oréal for its SoftSheen Products division, Burrell Communications Group, the Pillsbury Co. and the Gillette Co.
