Over the past few years, the conversation surrounding gender neutrality and gender non-conforming consumers has become more frequent and prevalent in society. As a result, beauty and personal care companies are taking notice by producing gender-neutral products. 

From makeup specifically created for transgender consumers to skin serums the entire family can use, the beauty market is proving once again that product inclusivity is one of the utmost trends of 2018. 

4 Gender-neutral Brands to Keep an Eye On 

  • Jecca Makeup: A unisex makeup brand that currently offers consumers its Correct & Conceal Palette in six shades, each retailing for £20. The British brand was created for members of the transgender community and utilizes the hashtag #MakeupHasNoGender.
  • Non Gender Specific: The self-proclaimed "Brand for Every Human" offers The Everything Serum. This serum, retailing for $65, was created to combat wrinkles, skin fatigue, elasticity, hyper-pigmentation and discoloration, pore-size reduction, brightness and cellular rejuvenation. 
  • Malin + Goetz: While this prestige gender-neutral brand has been around since the early 2000s, it recently announced the appointment of its first-ever CEO, Brad Horowitz. This appointment was intended to give founders, Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, the opportunity to focus on creative brand-building opportun­ities.
