New Global Director of Artistry, Education for Cargo Cosmetics

Cargo Cosmetics announced the hiring of a new global director, artistry and education, Jason Hoffman.

With over 15 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, Hoffman is a nationally recognized makeup artist. Most recently, he held the role of national lead trainer at Nars Cosmetics, where he created and facilitated employee seminars, developed new training programs and contributed to new product development. A New York Fashion Week regular, he has also worked backstage at top shows including Alexander Wang, Thakoon and Rodarte. Prior to his position at Nars, Hoffman held various positions at Shu Uemura, Laura Mercier and Trish McEvoy Cosmetics.

In his new role as global director, artistry and education for Cargo, Hoffman will contribute to the brand's new product development and education, aid in the execution of national and international brand events, and serve as the beauty expert behind the brand.

“We are very excited to have Jason join the Cargo Cosmetics team,” said Brian Robinson, president of TPR Holdings LLC, owner of Cargo Cosmetics. “We have a number of exciting innovations launching over the next year and are anxious to utilize Jason’s strong industry background and prestige beauty knowledge.”

“Cargo Cosmetics is a brand that I’ve always had a great deal of respect for,” said Hoffman. “The brand has always been ahead of the trends in color cosmetics—from the launch of the first-ever high-definition makeup collection to their consistently innovative and iconic tin packaging. I am confident my expertise can contribute to Cargo's future success.”
