e.l.f. Cosmetics is bringing back its annual nationwide model search for the fifth time, dubbing it "Beauty At All Ages 2014." Now through March 31, 2014, aspiring models and e.l.f. fans ages 13 or older are encouraged to enter their best photographs for a chance win a trip to New York for a professional photo shoot, along with other spectacular prizes.
e.l.f. Cosmetics will once again partner with casting and modeling website exploremodeling.com to manage entry submissions and user voting. The contest is open to the general public and encourages aspiring amateur models, professionals and loyal e.l.f. fans to submit pictures that capture the individual's unique beauty and personality. Candid photos and selfies are accepted—professional shots not required, and no prior modeling experience is necessary.
This year's contest will once again feature YouTube beauty guru Megan Parken, of the MeganHeartsMakeup channel, along with model and beauty guru Cassandra Bankson, of the DiamondsandHeels14 channel, as special hosts. Parken and Bankson will also make an exclusive appearance at the e.l.f. Studio Store in downtown Manhattan with the grand prize winners.
In keeping with the beauty brand's mission to appeal to a wide demographic of beauty enthusiasts, the model search contest is segmented into four age categories: teens, 20s, 30s and 40s+. Judging will be conducted by e.l.f. representatives. One winner from each category will receive a special makeover and attend a professional photo-shoot held by e.l.f Cosmetics at the company's headquarters in New York.
Four grand prize winners, one in each age category (teens, 20s, 30s, 40s+), will be brought to New York for a makeover and photo-shoot, and will be featured not only on the eyeslipsface.com website, but also in e.l.f.'s social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Each winner will also receive a $250 shopping spree in Manhattan's e.l.f. Studio Store, and$250 in spending cash. Each grand prize package is worth up to $1,500.
An additional prize will be awarded to the contest participant who wins the popular vote drawing on exploremodeling.com, which includes a luxury vacation at Beaches Ocho Rios Resort & Golf Club in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, courtesy of Beaches Resorts. Voting ends on March 31, 2014.
