SkinCeuticals Partners with Fractional Laser Company for More Effective Skin Care Treatments
Posted: August 23, 2012
Solta Medical, Inc., which offers fractional resurfacing products for aesthetic treatments, and L’Oreal professional skin care brand SkinCeuticals announced an exclusive partnership to deliver a fractional laser treatment plus in-office and home-use antioxidant skin care regimen. The partnership is the culmination of clinical research supported by Solta and SkinCeuticals exploring the beneficial effects of using Solta’s Clear + Brilliant Laser System with its new handpiece named Perméa and SkinCeuticals’ popular C E Ferulic antioxidant.
The clinical research findings, which were presented at the 32nd American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) Annual Conference in April 2012, demonstrated that patients experienced improved satisfaction with the overall appearance of their skin. Patients who received the Clear + Brilliant Perméa treatment followed by C E Ferulic also perceived a more rapid reduction in post-treatment recovery time, including reduction in redness and swelling.
“We are delighted to be working closely with the SkinCeuticals team to provide physicians and their patients with an opportunity to experience the benefits of this new and exciting approach to skincare treatments,” said Stephen J. Fanning, president and CEO of Solta Medical, Inc. “Born out of our expertise in fractional lasers, Clear + Brilliant has become the go-to product for physicians who want to give their patients the benefits of a fractional resurfacing treatment with limited recovery time. Adding the new Perméa handpiece to the Clear + Brilliant laser system and including C E Ferulic in the treatment regimen serve to bring additional benefits to patients who are seeking an effective in-office and at-home treatment.”
“As advanced skin care innovators, we are excited for this collaboration with Solta Medical, Inc. and look forward to providing a new way of approaching complementary skin care for improved, efficacious results,” said Stuart Leitch, VP marketing of SkinCeuticals.
