The 2008 Beauty Challenger Awards were presented on Monday, October 6 in a ceremony held during the Beyond Beauty Paris trade show and conferences. The competition attracted 52 entries from around the world.

Four awards were presented: Cosmeeting First Prize went to Erborian Korean Skin Therapy; Spa & Institute First Prize was awarded to Jewel Beauty for its Raku Massage Sandals; and the brand Need was awarded the Pharmameeting First Prize for its health sweets. The international jury of 40 industry experts awarded its “Coup de Coeur” prize to Ainy, a facial treatment line based on plants from the Andes and Amazonia. Erborian earned a third place award in 2007 for its skin care introduction, and this year entered the competition with a patented high-dose ginseng serum, an ultra-soft nano-emulsion made from Korean medicinal herbs.
