HBA Global announced that it is strengthening its presence in the European market by appointing Emanuela (Ema) Treneva as its new international sales director. Based in Paris, Treneva will provide sales outreach and customer support to European beauty and personal care suppliers. She will also facilitate relationships with European beauty and wellness organizations, media and pan-European customers.
Before joining HBA Global, Ema Treneva was international advertising manager for Cosmedias, the former European trade publisher for a number of publications. For more than six years, she was responsible for all aspects of the worldwide sales and marketing.

"Her extensive beauty background and engaging personality will benefit our customers in all of Europe. Being based in Paris, she will bring a higher level of customer service overseas and help insure that exhibitors and attendees traveling to HBA get the most out of the event and have a good experience."
Treneva has also worked for Gucci and Yves St. Laurent brands, and French retailer Printemps in a variety of marketing, communications and human resource roles. From 1992 to 1996, Treneva was a professional tennis player and member of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). She holds a bachelor's degree in economics, a master's in communication, advertising and new medias, and is fluent in French, Spanish, Italian, English and Bulgarian.
HBA Global Expo & Conference is a product development event for the beauty industry. The 18th annual event will take place Sept. 28-30, 2010, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
