MakeUp in Paris Features 10+ Conference Sessions on Beauty Trends

The 2013 edition of MakeUp in Paris is offering 12 conferences on topical beauty issues as part of its line-up for the event taking place June 20–21, 2013, at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. The conferences will feature prominent figures from the global and European beauty industry, and will cover the production of beauty formulas to packaging and the distribution of products and beyond.

To note, this year, the conferences have a special focus on Korea, a burgeoning beauty market for trends, consumers and more.

The conferences on Thursday, June 20 will include "Makeup and Skin Care," with speakers from Strand Cosmetics, Sothys, Fiabila, Yves Rocher and Kanebo; "The Impact of Smell in Makeup," with speakers from Cinquieme Sens, BeautyWorld Connexions, and The Smell and Taste Lab; "Colors & Beauty: Past Present and Future," with speakers from Comité Français de la Couleur; "Foundation, A Concentrate of Innovations," with speakers from Make Up For Ever, B.KolorMakeup & Skincare, Genealogy, SGD and QuadPack-Yonwoo France; "What Trend for What Choice?" with speakers from Lumson; "The Red Colour," with a color management consultant speaker; and "Summer 2014 Beauty Trends: From Sociological Decryption to Creative Avenues," with speakers from Carlin International.

For Friday, June 21, the conference offerings will be "Mascara, a Global Product," with speakers from Ancorotti Cosmetics and Geka Brush Company; "Korea, a Champion in Makeup Innovation," with speakers from FS Korea, Cosmecca, AmorePacific and Hwa Sung Cosmetics; "The Sleever Makeup Solution," with speakrs from Sleever International; "Makeup and the Strategies of Luxury Brands," with speakers from NaO Design Trends; "Sale Target: What Training for Sales Consultants?" with speakers from Galeries Lafayette Lyon Part Dieu; and "The Blue Colour," with a color management consultant speaker.
