Global Cosmetic Industry and READY to BEAUTY are excited to present the third episode of "Voices Behind the Data."
The series presents key findings from READY to BEAUTY's inaugural industry study titled “(A) State of Black Beauty: An Industry Study as Told by those Black Founders, Executives and Artists who Define the Market." Founder Corey Huggins will host each interview, highlighting the experiences of leading Black beauty professionals.
Being A Young, Black Professional in the Beauty Industry
This episode features Manessa Lormejuste, beauty scientist and product developer. Lormejuste is the STEM exception, being both Black and a young woman in the developmental sciences. Huggins and Lormejuste will address the challenges of the work environment and speak on what it is like to be young, Black and professionally working in the beauty industry.
