Leadership Changes at Astral

Astral Health & Beauty, the holding company for beauty brands Aloette, CosMedix and Pür Minerals, announced several appointment changes.

Robert Cohen, Astral Health & Beauty founder and chairman of the board, expands his leadership role to executive chairman. In addition to heading the board, Cohen assumes day-to-day responsibilities of Astral with direct oversight to all corporate facets, including operations, product development, sales, marketing and brand management. Cohen will focus on each of the brands’ next generation growth strategies. On the horizon include a string of patent-pending formulations and global growth.

Additionally, the following management changes have taken place: Stephen Merrick joins the company as CFO, Eric Allen joins as vice president of operations, Tammy Blythe joins as vice president of sales and training for Pür Minerals, and Tisha Thompson has been promoted to vice president of brand marketing for Pür Minerals.
