New Packaging Company, Global Beauty Pack Launches, and More Beauty Packaging News and Launches for Early April 2014

Following the acquisition of M&H Plastics by the RPC Group at the end of 2013, Manuplastics will now be amalgamated with M&H Plastics under the M&H Group umbrella. The new structure strengthens the customer offering, enabling M&H Group to provide both bespoke and a comprehensive product portfolio of light-, medium- and heavyweight jars to brands across the world.

Cosfibel Premium launched Fast Track, an online catalog of standard products that can be customized. Inspired by b-to-c websites, clients can now browse Cosfibel’s selection of standards, accessories, jewelry and promotional objects, and fill their basket in just a few clicks. This new solution is a response to international brands’ demands for shorter time-to-market solutions.

New Launches

Ushering in a new era of growth for the company, Anisa International is debuting a major expansion into new product categories at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2014.In addition to several new collections that highlight the company’s brush head shapes and customizable handles, Anisa International introduced a “Textural Evolution” of cosmetic accessories, individual brush cleansing wipes, a range of unique bag offerings and at-home spa products. The “Textural Evolution” features new product extensions developed around beauty and utility and currently highlights tactile materials with a myriad of surfaces. Fashion-forward tools and accessories showcase glossy metallics, raised surfaces and dynamic finishes and demonstrate movement through patterns, light and colors. Additionally, the company is featuring its customizable brush handle options; and new brush heads, including the Mattifying, Line Maker, Treatment and Pointed Trio collections, all designed with advanced form and function.

Quadpack is seeking to offer inspiration at its stand at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. The cosmetic packaging provider will be using the show to demonstrate new concepts in beauty packaging in three distinct areas: skin care, makeup and perfumery. In addition, there will be a dedicated space for Technotraf Wood Packaging, to show how wooden components can bring product differentiation. In perfumery, Quadpack will present its new lines in fragrance packaging, offering a range of shapes and capacities, along with multiple options for collars, pumps and caps in plastic, Surlyn and wood. The makeup corner will feature a number of products, including pansticks, kohl pencils and the Flash Pen Coloris, Quadpack's recently launched jumbo stick for eye and lip color. And for skin care, Quadpack will feature its new new Roll-On Tube range, which offers single- or triple-ball solutions in sizes ranging from 16 to 40 mm; the Ellipse tottle, the newest member of the Q-Line family; and skin care packaging line Montana, adorned with wooden caps from Technotraf. Also, Quadpack will showcase selected Yonwoo products, including three new slimline ranges.

Global One-Pak (GOP) launched Puro.Foamer, aimed at beauty, cosmetic and personal care brands. Designed to transform, Puro.Foamer’s innovative shape was created specifically to enhance visual appeal. The pump is an extension to GOP’s Puro range, and with its new style elegance is ideal for products such as self tanners, hair and body care, and facial cleansers. The aesthetic impact of Puro.Foamer is further enhanced for maximum shelf appeal with a myriad of design options, including color, surface finish and decorative features, which can comply with any brand guidelines. Also, the Puro.Foamer pack was designed with ergonomics in mind, as it’s a 200 ml cylindrical bottle, which is easy to hold and has an enhanced actuator with an 0.8 ml dosage.

New on the Shelves

Groupe Pochet’s Solev worked on packaging for the Next Girlfriend fragrance from entertainer Justin Bieber. Vividly colored with metallic and electric tones, the pack was created using high-tech, laser-cut patterns precisely defined around the Pochet heart-shaped bottle to create a novel, rays-of-light effect. The bottle is a demonstration of a marriage of technology and beauty.
