Clinique Opens Skin Wellness Center

Clinique Laboratories has partnered with Weill Cornell Medical College to focus on advancing skin wellness through research, academic outreach, patient education and care. The Clinique Skin Wellness Center at Weill Cornell is both a physical space for patient services and education as well as a "center without walls" that fosters joint research, education and outreach programs.

The Center will be directed by Richard D. Granstein, chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Weill Cornell. It has been created to advance the understanding of skin from clinical, scientific and cosmetic points of view.

The physical center comprises of three full-service examination rooms and a workstation. Weill Cornell dermatologists, with a range of specialties, will see patients in the exam rooms. Patients can also make an appointment to see a specially trained Clinique representative for tips on gentle cleansing and effective cover-up and camouflage techniques for scars and post-treatment redness. The center is open to anyone seeking dermatological care and focuses on skin wellness, not specific product endorsements.

"At our very roots we believe in the power of dermatological advice and the Clinique Skin Wellness Center is the next step in providing the best that skin science has to offer," said Lynne Greene, global president, Clinique.
