Lonza Skin Care has named Daan Thorn Leeson as global head of skin care technology for its personal care section.

Leeson's responsibilities will include leading the development of new products and building Lonza's reputation as a solution provider in the skin care market.

He has worked in the personal care industry for 17 years with 10 years spent at Avon Products in various research and innovation roles.

In hair care, organic sales jumped in the high single digits due to pricing increases in North and Latin America and Europe.
