Jonathan Myers Appointed COO of Avon

Jonathan Myers has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of Avon. 

Effective September 1, 2017, Myers will be responsible for the leadership of Avon’s brand marketing and product R&D, digital, information technology and global supply chain. He will be based at the company’s London headquarters and will report to CEO Sheri McCoy. Myers’ past experience includes serving as Kellogg’s vice president, Western European markets, and managing director,

Myers’ past experience includes serving as Kellogg’s vice president, Western European markets, and managing director, U.K. and Ireland. He also spent 20 years at Procter & Gamble where he held leadership roles in Oral Care and Feminine Care, and Beauty Care.

This announcement comes on the heels of Miguel Fernandez’s appointment to global president of Avon

McCoy stated, "Jonathan's appointment and the other executive leadership appointments we have recently announced ensure we have the strong, seasoned leadership team in place to drive and accelerate the pace of change in the next chapter of our journey to profitable growth. During 2016, we established the basis for our transformation, separating the North American business, strengthening our balance sheet and driving out cost. In 2017, we've refined our growth roadmap and put in place the enablers to drive the necessary changes to achieve our stated long-term financial goals."
