VanDeMark Chemical, Inc. USA (Lockport, New York) has appointed James E. Romano as vice president of global sales and business development.
He will have supervisory responsibility for the entire sales staff of both VanDeMark and the newly acquired Framochem Kft (Kazincbarcika, Hungary).
Romano previously held roles with Chemtura Corp., Eastman Chemical Co. and DSM Resins, He earned an M.B.A. with distinction from DePaul University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama.
