Camellia Japonica oil stars in BioAktive’s latest launch, a plant-derived silicone alternative.

NatraSoft Camellia (INCI: Not Available) is meant to marry its natural origins with improved spreading ability, quick skin penetration, soft skin feel and light touch.

The emollient is functional for body and hair care applications, and is slightly drier on skin than the supplier’s original NatraSoft (INCI: Not Available).

"NatraSoft Camellia is the second in what we plan as a range of products that provide the feel and touch of a silicone, but are made of natural and plant derived materials. There is a gap in the market for natural based products that can be used to as an alternative to synthetic or petroleum based materials. This product is important for us. It fits right into this gap in the market and really follows the natural trend. We are expecting good results," commented Solomon Matzner, co-founder, BioAktive.
