drom Introduces pureganic

drom fragrances international has introduced pureganic—a new collection of essential oils. The new brand aims to maintain the purity of essential oils by harvesting plants in accordance with ecological guidelines, free from pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. To ensure the availability of the raw materials on a sustainable basis, drom has entered into cooperative agreements with agricultural operations in Bavaria. To secure harvest freshness, mobile distillation equipment is used directly on site for distillation. In addition, drom, the University of Munich and the Bavarian State Institute for Soil Culture and Plant Growth have developed a variant on water vapor extraction that is fast, pressure-free and gentle.
