BASF and siHealth Ltd. have announced a strategic alliance, including an equity investment.

The partnership will allow BASF to market siHealth’s scientifically-based satellite and optronic technologies to the global personal care market.

Along with extending BASF’s offerings, it will enable new industry solutions (such as those within personalized products). The latest advanced technology will be introduced by siHealth to the technical community at the International Sun Protection Conference at the Royal College of General Practitioners in London, June 4-5, 2019.

“With this equity investment in siHealth, we are able to commercialize siHealth’s technology exclusively in the personal care industry,” said Robert Parker, director, new business development at care chemicals, BASF. “Our initial products will enable new possibilities to support our customers providing sun care solutions to the market.”

“We are proud to become a member of the BASF ecosystem,” added Emilio Simeone, siHealth Ltd. founder and CEO. “Our company is focused on innovative digital technology for healthcare. This partnership with BASF paves the way for bringing our know-how and technology into the personal care market.”
